Michael Emory

Michael Emory is currently a Product Manager at Luminary Cloud and a Member of the Board of Directors at the Computational Marine Ethology Research Institute since February 2022. Previously, Michael served as a Software Architect at Cadence Design Systems and held various roles at Cascade Technologies, Inc., including Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist, focusing on high-fidelity simulations of fluid flow and developments in computational fluid dynamics. Earlier experience includes teaching public speaking at Stanford University, conducting research as a Postdoctoral Scholar, and serving as a Graduate Research Intern at Sandia National Laboratories and NASA Ames Research Center. Michael's educational background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Mathematics from Columbia University.
