Tobias Perelstein

Tobias Perelstein has worked in various software engineering roles throughout their career. Tobias recently joined Luminopia in 2023 as a Lead Backend Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at StreamElements as a Senior Software Engineer from 2022 to 2023. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Moth + Flame. Tobias also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at In-Depth Engineering Corporation in 2020, where they led architecture and support for the backend used for analyzing ballistic missile threats. Between 2019 and 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung NEXT. From 2016 to 2019, Tobias worked at In-Depth Engineering Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they built a ballistic missile defense analysis tool. Tobias also has experience as a Backend Developer at Splash and a Backend Engineer at LifeWorx. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer at Too Much Media and as an iLab Assistant at Rutgers University, where they assisted students with troubleshooting programming assignments and mentored in various languages and fundamentals.

Tobias Perelstein began their education in 2010 at Middlesex College, where they pursued a degree in Physics and Mathematics. Tobias attended the college until 2012 before progressing to Rutgers University. At Rutgers, Tobias completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, graduating in 2015.
