Rareș Mușină

Rareș Mușină has held various roles in the tech industry since 2010. At Yonder, they started as a Software Developer Engineer Intern in 2010 and then moved to a Software Developer Engineer role in 2011, where they developed a web-based Warehouse Management System and a CMS application. In 2012, they were a Software Developer Engineer in Test Intern at Microsoft. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Software Engineer II, Software Engineer, and Software Developer Engineer in Test at Skype, where they worked on user authentication and created test automation for backend systems. From 2017 to 2022, they were a Principal Engineer, Tech Lead, Payments, and Senior Backend Engineer at N26, where they implemented and maintained payment processing services, drove the definition of a new architectural vision, and led engineering teams. Currently, they are a Backend Chapter Lead and Senior Backend Engineer at Abacum.

Rareș Mușină obtained a Highschool Degree in Mathematics - Computer Science from Liviu Rebreanu National College in Bistrita, Romania from 2004 to 2008. Rareș then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Babes Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca, Romania from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they completed their Master's degree in Distributed Systems from Babes Bolyai University. In 2013, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
