Sy Barker

Sy Barker has a strong background in dental services and recruiting. From 2023, they have been serving as the Senior Manager of University Partnerships at Lumio Dental. Prior to that, Sy worked at Pacific Dental Services from 2017 to 2023. During their time there, they held various roles, including Specialist in University & School Relations, University Relations Specialist, Dentist Recruiter, and Associate Recruiter. Before entering the dental field, Sy worked at SmartPractice as a Territory Manager - Dental from 2011 to 2017. Sy was responsible for maintaining and prospecting dental offices throughout the US. Sy also has experience outside of the dental industry, having worked at Abercrombie & Fitch as a Store Manager and Visual Manager from 2007 to 2011. In these roles, they were responsible for store operations, staff training, inventory management, and visual merchandising.

Sy Barker attended Wesley College, Delaware from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing. In addition to their degree, Sy has obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they received a Professional Recruiter Certification, although the institution that granted this certification is unknown. Prior to that, Sy obtained a Give Kids A Smile certification from Pacific Dental Services in January 2018, and another Give Kids A Smile certification from SmartPractice in January 2012.
