Thomas Sønderby

Thomas Sønderby serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer of Lumion since January 2022. Previously, Thomas held the position of External Advisor at Altor Equity Partners in 2021, and served as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Stibo Systems from March 2019 to January 2021. At Oracle, from January 2016 to February 2019, Thomas was Regional Sales Director for Technology Europe North, where a new prime sales organization was established, contributing to significant revenue growth. Additionally, Thomas co-founded Venture Innovation Africa, focusing on partnerships between software vendors in East Africa and Northern Europe. Thomas's extensive background includes roles at SAP, where responsibilities spanned global sales and business development for SAP Business One, and earlier positions at SimCorp, Taipei Consulting Network, Deloitte, and Lanell Innovation ApS, contributing to expertise in business development, sales management, and strategic planning. Educational qualifications include MSc and BA in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, along with executive education from IESE Business School and the University of Michigan.
