Nicholas Cocks

Nicholas Cocks has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Nicholas is currently the Managing Partner at Velocity Ventures Singapore, a position they have held since September 2019. In 1989, they founded and served as the Director of Readymix, a construction materials company. Nicholas was the Chief Executive Officer of ReadyVentures, a boutique investment fund that supports young entrepreneurs, from January 2016 to an unspecified date. Nicholas Cocks has also held directorial positions in various companies such as Lumitics, MTQ Engineering Pte Ltd, Neptune Marine Services, Forest Adventure Pte Ltd, The New Luncher, OxfordCaps, and Qourier. Through these positions, they have gained extensive experience in engineering solutions, inspection and maintenance services, student accommodation, and logistics.

Nicholas Cocks attended Scotch College Adelaide from 1970 to 1980 for their primary and secondary education. Nicholas then enrolled at Geelong Grammar School from 1981 to 1982, where they obtained their Higher School Certificate (HSC). Later, from 1983 to 1985, Nicholas pursued higher education at The Australian National University. At the university, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree and studied subjects in the fields of Economics, Accounting, and Computer Science.
