Mboone Umbima, MSOD, currently serves as the EVP of Brand Strategy at David Rio Chai & Tea, where responsibilities include guiding the brand's overall direction and fostering innovation in the premium chai market. Umbima has held various leadership roles, including VP of Brand Strategy and Director of Brand Marketing & Philanthropy at LUMO, along with experience as an Executive Leadership Coach at Compass Group. Prior positions include Communications Consultant for Equity Group Foundation, Communications Manager, and Sector Communications Manager at Compass Group USA, where management of communications strategies for significant contracts was key. Additional experience encompasses roles such as Communications Director at Emkay East Africa, Marketing Analyst at Wachovia, and Account Executive at Top Dog Communications. Umbima holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development from Queens University of Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Marketing from the University of Indianapolis.
