Jenny Kelly (Stenger-Smith)

Scientist I - Research and Development at Lumos Diagnostics

Jenny Kelly (Stenger-Smith) has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific and engineering fields. Jenny began their career in 2011 as an Engineering Intern at China Lake Naval Base. In 2012, they were a Research Intern at California Polytechnic State University. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Chemistry Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz. In 2019, they were a NREIP Summer Research Intern at the United States Department of Defense. Most recently, they have been a Scientist III - Process Development/Analytical Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific since 2021, and they will start as a Scientist I - Research and Development at Lumos Diagnostics in 2022.

Jenny Kelly (Stenger-Smith) attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. Jenny then went on to attend the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Bioinorganic Chemistry.
