Julie Neubauer, PhD

Julie Neubauer, PhD has a diverse work experience. Julie is currently working as a Senior Product Manager at Lumos Labs (Lumosity) since July 2022. Previously, they worked as an Editor at AJE - American Journal Experts, where they edited scientific documents for grammar, punctuation, and clarity.

Julie also served as a Product Manager at LiveSwitch Inc. from April 2021 to May 2022, and at IQVIA from March 2020 to April 2021. During their time at IQVIA, they focused on using technology to streamline the proposals process and led the conversion of account summaries to a new platform.

Before their roles in product management, Julie worked at IQVIA as a Senior Proposal Developer, Team Lead from July 2017 to March 2020. Julie also held other positions within IQVIA as a Proposal Developer II and Proposal Developer I, where they managed proposal requests and streamlined the triage process.

Julie has also contributed to academia. Julie worked as an Adjunct Professor at Cleveland State University in 2015 and as an Adjunct Professor at Cuyahoga Community College from January 2014 to May 2015, where they designed and administered lectures and assessments for biological chemistry classes.

Prior to their teaching roles, Julie served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Case Western Reserve University from January 2014 to February 2015. Julie'sresearch focused on the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase L protein from vesicular stomatitis virus.

Julie's academic journey began as a PhD Candidate at Duke University Medical Center from August 2008 to November 2012, where they completed their dissertation research by cloning and purifying a protein complex and determining its 3D x-ray structure.

Additionally, Julie has worked as a research technician II at The Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT from June 2006 to July 2008, conducting admixture mapping and studying disease-related genetic variations. Julie also gained research experience as an undergraduate research assistant at Rice University in the laboratory of Michael Gustin.

Julie Neubauer, PhD, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rice University between 2003 and 2006. Afterward, they pursued further education and attained a PhD in Pharmacology & Biochemistry from Duke University from 2008 until 2013.
