Sina Trey Hesari

Sina Trey Hesari has over ten years of work experience in software engineering and IT roles. Sina Trey is currently employed at Lumos Labs (Lumosity) as a Senior Software Engineer since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Raytheon Technologies for five years as a Software Engineer, where they spearheaded the creation of a Node.js server for a cloud migration project.

Before Raytheon Technologies, Sina worked at Medtronic as a Software Engineer from 2015 to 2017. Sina Trey designed and developed automated test cases for Constant Glucose Monitoring devices, implemented testing methods, and provided requirements gathering and documentation.

Sina Trey also gained experience as a Software Developer Intern at Harris Corporation, where they focused on software design and testing. Sina has a background in computer science, having worked as a Computer Science Tutor/TA at California State University, Northridge, where they taught programming techniques to undergraduate students and provided tutoring in various programming languages.

Sina's earlier roles include Senior IT Specialist at Advanced ADHC, where they transitioned the facility to digital record keeping and maintained the network infrastructure, and IT Consultant at UCHA IT Department, where they managed wireless networks and supervised access to the computer lab.

Before entering the software and IT industry, they worked in customer service at Billy Wilder Theater. Overall, Sina's career has been focused on software engineering, testing, IT consulting, and network management, with expertise in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, and C#.

Sina Trey Hesari has a strong educational background in the field of computer science and software engineering. From 2013 to 2016, Sina attended California State University-Northridge, where they obtained their Masters of Computer Science, with a focus on Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, they attended UCLA from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics, Accounting, and Mathematics. Before transferring to UCLA, Sina spent four years at Los Angeles Pierce College from 2006 to 2010, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences.
