Larry Zhao

Larry Zhao currently serves as the VP of Process Engineering at Lumotive since February 2023. Prior to this role, Larry held the position of Sr. Director at Applied Materials from August 2020 to February 2023 and served as an Adjunct Professor at Fudan University during the same period. Larry's earlier experience includes working as Technical Director at Lam Research from March 2014 to July 2020 and as Manager of Interconnect Exploratory Research at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from August 2011 to February 2014, where responsibilities included managing research activities focused on interconnect scaling. Larry Zhao earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven and another Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science from Columbia University in the City of New York.
