Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre
Dr. Sarah MacDonald is an accomplished professional in the field of forensic psychology, currently serving as the Director of Forensic Services and Forensic Interview Specialist at the Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre since January 2017. In this role, Dr. MacDonald collaborates with multiple partner organizations, including law enforcement and health services, contributing to the development of the Forensic Interview Model. Additionally, as a Scientific Advisor Consultant for the Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General since November 2017, Dr. MacDonald has demonstrated expertise in the field. Prior experience includes consulting for the Centre for Investigative Interviewing and serving as a lecturer at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where Dr. MacDonald taught a range of forensic psychology topics. Dr. MacDonald holds a PhD in Psychology from Memorial University, as well as a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology.
