Ian Shannan

Ian Shannan has over 34 years of experience working in sales and business development roles in the telecommunications industry. Ian began their career at wandel & goltermann as a Sales Engineer in 1986 and later became a Business Development Manager in 1997. In 2000, Ian joined Acterna as a Business Development Manager until 2003. Ian then moved on to Seven Layer Communications, where they worked as a Sales Manager from 2004 to 2005. Ian then joined Circadiant Systems Inc as the European Sales Director from 2005 to 2007. Currently, Ian holds the position of Vice President of Sales EMEA at Luna Innovations Incorporated. Ian has been with the company since 2007 and is responsible for driving sales initiatives and expanding market presence in the EMEA region, specifically in the Fibre Optic Sensing market, as well as Telecoms, Aerospace, Defence, and Medical markets.

Ian Shannan attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1980 to 1985, where they studied Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
