Roland Doorduyn

Roland Doorduyn is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Commercial Head for North America at Lunar Energy since April 2023, focusing on the commercialization of the Lunar Gridshare platform and development of virtual power plants (VPPs). Prior to this role, Roland held positions at Voltus, Inc. as Product Partnerships lead, and co-founded CompaSolar, an online marketplace for solar solutions in Latin America. Roland’s extensive background includes leadership roles at Siemens Energy, where business development for decarbonized energy systems was emphasized, and co-founding Bolt Energy Durango, overseeing a cogeneration project. With experience in financial services and a strong educational foundation in finance, law, and economics from esteemed institutions, Roland has developed a robust understanding of market dynamics, partnerships, and innovative energy solutions.
