Brett Milliken has a diverse work experience that spans several years. In 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. Following that, they became a Digital Signal Processing Co-op at Lockheed Martin in December 2016, where they worked until November 2017. In 2018, Brett joined CU Boulder as a Knowledge Foundry Tutor from January to May. Concurrently with their role at CU Boulder, they worked as a Software Engineer at HERRICK TECHNOLOGY LABORATORIES, INC. from August 2018 to October 2022. Currently, Brett is working as an Embedded Software Engineer (Space) at Lunar Outpost since February 2023.

Brett Milliken earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education at Fossil Ridge HS from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, Brett obtained several certifications during their education journey, including Clean Room Training (Class 10,000), Electrostatic Sensitive Device Training, and Technician Class Amateur Radio Operator certification from various institutions such as the Laboratory For Atmospheric and Space Physics and the Federal Communications Commission.
