Mette Rasmussen currently serves as a researcher at Statens Institut for Folkesundhed since May 2023. Concurrently, Mette holds the position of senior researcher at The Parker Institute and Lund University, roles that began in October 2018. Prior to these positions, Mette worked as a PhD student at Bispebjerg Hospital, focusing on the effectiveness of Smoking Cessation Interventions in Denmark from 2001 to 2013. Earlier experience includes serving as the national coordinator at the WHO Collaboration Centre for Evidence-Based Health Promotion in Hospitals and as an information officer at Bispebjerg University Hospital. Educational qualifications include a PhD from the University of Copenhagen and a cand.scient in Environmental Biology and Communications from Roskilde University.
