Lars Torup

Scientific Programme Director, Strategic Programmes at Lundbeck Foundation

Lars is responsible for the development of the Lundbeck Foundation's strategic initiatives within neuroscience.

Before Lars started working in charitable foundations, he worked for 16 years with research and development of drugs within neurology and psychiatry in the pharmaceutical industry. From his work in drug discovery and clinical research, Lars has experience of the entire innovation process, from the conception of an idea to commercialization.

Lars holds an M.Sc. in biochemistry and has a Ph.D. in neuropharmacology from the University of Copenhagen.
