Nander Melendez

Nander Melendez is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in construction project management within the mining sector. Currently serving as Superintendente de Proyectos de Construccion at Lundin Gold Ecuador since October 2022, Nander is responsible for the development of engineering and necessary infrastructure for operations. Previously, Nander led the feasibility study and detailed engineering for the Chalcobamba Stage II project at Compañia Minera Las Bambas from August 2018 to February 2023. Nander's tenure at Antamina from November 2008 to August 2018 included roles as Lider de Proyecto and Supervisor de Construccion, overseeing various civil, mechanical, and instrumentation projects related to the elevation of the main dam and the construction tasks at the concentration plant. Nander holds degrees in Civil Engineering from Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego.
