Alex da Costa Teixeira

Alex da Costa Teixeira is a highly experienced geologist with a comprehensive background in both open-pit and underground mining, specializing in gold and copper operations. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Geology at Lundin Mining in Brazil since January 2023, Alex's responsibilities include mining release planning, quality control of mining fronts, geological mapping, and management of reverse circulation drilling activities. Previous roles include Senior Geologist at AngloGold Ashanti, Geologist at Aura Minerals Inc. and Lundin Mining Corporation, and various positions at Leagold Mining Corporation and GEOCODE-GEOLOGIA E PLANEJAMENTO DE LAVRA LTDA, where Alex focused on geological exploration, sampling management, and the development of geological projects. Alex holds a degree in Geology from Universidade Estadual Paulista and has a history of leadership in geological teams and projects.
