Lucas Heppner

Lucas Heppner has a diverse work experience starting from their current position as a Radar Signal Processing Engineer at Lunewave Inc. since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Raytheon Missiles & Defense from August 2018 to November 2022. Lucas also gained experience as an Optical Engineer Intern at Lasertel from August 2016 to July 2018 and as a Summer Research Intern at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in June 2016. Lucas worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Arizona from May 2015 to May 2016. Lucas has also held positions in the automotive industry, serving as a Shop Manager at blue+white BMW specialists from August 2011 to February 2015 and as an Automotive Technician at BMW of Tucson from August 2009 to August 2011.

Lucas Heppner has a diverse education history, with a focus on science and technology. Lucas began their educational journey by attending Universal Technical Institute, Inc. from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an Associate's degree in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician. Following this, Heppner enrolled at Pima Community College from 2009 to 2015, where they pursued an Associates of General Studies for Transfer degree in General Studies. Finally, they attended the University of Arizona from 2015 to 2018, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Optics/Optical Sciences.
