Simon BAUDRY

Co-founder, Administrative & Financial Director at Luos

Simon Baudry has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Simon is currently working as a Production Manager at Pollen Robotics since April 2023. Prior to this, Simon was a Co-founder and the Administrative & Financial Director at Luos, a startup focused on developing microservices and DevOps methodologies for embedded systems. Simon co-founded the company in July 2018.

Simon also worked as an Associate at Team for the Planet starting from December 2021.

Before that, Simon held roles as a Mechatronics Engineer at Pollen Robotics from May 2017 to June 2018, and as an Ingénieur transfert et innovation at Inria from May 2017 to April 2018, where they worked on the transfer and development of mechatronic technology.

Simon has prior experience in the robotics industry, having worked at SoftBank Robotics Europe. Simon served as a Mechatronics Design Engineer from January 2014 to March 2017, where they focused on electric motorization and reduction on humanoid robots Nao & Pepper. Simon also held the position of Founding Engineer of the Hardware Qualification from November 2012 to December 2013 at the same company, leading a 10-person technical team and designing hardware test plans for robotics parts, modules, and platforms.

Simon has also worked as a self-employed traveler from January 2011 to August 2012. Their earlier experience includes working as an Innovation Engineer at Faurecia Automotive Seating from January 2010 to June 2010, where they focused on the research, study, and development of a motorized reclining device for car seats.

Simon BAUDRY earned a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from ENIB, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. In 2018 to 2019, they attended Startup School Online, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In February 2021, they obtained the EF SET English Certificate with a proficiency level of 86/100 (C2 Proficient) from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET).
