Sharmila Rai

Sharmila Rai has extensive work experience in accounts and finance roles. Sharmila is currently the Head of Accounts and Finance at Versa Networks since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Accounts and Finance at Versa Networks from May 2019 to October 2020. Before joining Versa Networks, they were an Assistant Manager of Accounts at IntraEdge from June 2017 to May 2019. From November 2005 to May 2017, they worked as a Senior Process Associate at Alabos BPO Solutions Private Limited. Sharmila also worked as a Senior Accountant at The Favourite Shop from August 2010 to December 2011 and at R S Enterprises (Hotel The Viceroy & Mayura Netravathi) from June 2003 to April 2005. Sharmila started their career as an Accountant at Hotel The Prestige - India from May 2001 to May 2003.

Sharmila Rai attended Women's Polytechnic College in Bondel, Mangalore from 1989 to 1992. During this time, they pursued a diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, focusing on the field of Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Sharmila has also obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they completed courses in Accounting for Managers, Financial Modeling and Forecasting Financial Statements, and Oracle: Customer Service Suite from LinkedIn. In May 2020, they received certification in NetSuite from Cloud foundation. In May 2018 and February 2017, they achieved Quickbooks certifications through web quizzes provided by Quickbooks-Training.net.
