Stefan Schauer

Stefan Schauer is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Global Convertible Bonds at Lupus alpha Asset Management AG since January 2017, managing long-only convertible bond portfolios with over €4.5 billion in assets under management. Prior to this role, Stefan held various positions at Deutsche Asset Management from October 2006 to December 2016, including Director of Global Convertible Bonds, where responsibilities included managing mutual funds and institutional mandates. Additionally, Stefan served as Assistant Vice President with a focus on Structured Finance and Money Markets, conducting comprehensive analyses of structured finance instruments and engaging in liquidity management. Earlier career experience includes risk management, focusing on market and credit risk, as well as compliance with regulatory expectations. Stefan holds a Diplom-Kaufmann (MBA equivalent) in Economics and Finance from Goethe University Frankfurt.
