Sonja Freund

Sonja Freund serves as Group Legal Counsel at LUQOM GROUP since July 2022 and has held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Lampenwelt GmbH since January 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Rechtsanwältin at Dr. Hohmann & Dr. Müller from April 2009 to January 2019, and as Rechtsanwältin Senior Consultant at EY between January 2006 and March 2009. Initial legal training began as Rechtsreferendarin at Fladgate LLP, followed by similar roles at Orth Kluth Rechtsanwälte and Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf. Sonja Freund holds several degrees, including the 1. Juristisches Staatsexamen in Rechtswissenschaften from The University of Bonn, an LL.M. in International & European Business Law from Anglia Ruskin University, and the 2. Juristisches Staatsexamen from Oberlandesgericht Düsseldorf, among others.
