Martha M Tyson

Martha M Tyson is a seasoned landscape architect with extensive experience in therapeutic and specialized garden design, particularly for seniors with Alzheimer's disease and individuals with invisible disabilities. Since 2003, Martha has led projects through Martha M Tyson Design, focusing on commercial, healthcare, and residential design. Martha currently supports students with autism at Elmhurst District 205 Public Schools as an educational assistant and provides garden design coaching as a nursery sales associate at Lurvey Supply. Previous roles include consulting for outdoor education initiatives at Tolfree Biofest and healthcare design at Upland Design LTD and Chicago Botanic Garden. Martha holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota.
