Ashleigh Worley has extensive experience in various roles in the field of arts education and community engagement. Ashleigh served as the Director of Education & Community Engagement at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts from November 2018 to the present. Prior to that, they worked as the Director Of Education at Marin Theatre Company from July 2015 to November 2018. From August 2011 to June 2015, they were a Theatre Teacher at Iredell Statesvile Schools. Additionally, they held the position of Director/Production Manager at Theatre! Statesville from September 2014 to May 2015. Ashleigh also worked at Davidson Community Players as a Stage Manager/Props Mistress from June 2013 to April 2015 and as a Theatre Camp Instructor from June 2013 to July 2014.
Ashleigh Worley has a degree in Theatre Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as "Driving Nonprofit Performance and Innovation" from Harvard Business School Executive Education in June 2022, "Leading for Equity and Inclusion Spring 2022" from the Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership in May 2022, and "Nonprofit Financial Stewardship" from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education in November 2021. Ashleigh also holds an "English Credential- Specialization in Drama" from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, which they obtained in September 2016. Ashleigh is also licensed in 9-12 English Language Arts and K-12 Theatre Education by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, although the specific dates of obtaining these licenses are not available.
