Mandy Widtfeldt

Mandy Widtfeldt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public relations, community engagement, and development. Currently serving as the Development and Events Director and previously as the Community Engagement Manager at Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois since April 2019, Mandy has a strong background in managing media relations and generating impactful communications strategies. As the Founder of Be Free by Mandy from January 2014 to January 2022, Mandy focused on developing innovative initiatives. Prior experience includes roles at Ritz Communications as a PR Consultant, GolinHarris as VP/Writing Director, and managerial positions at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and The American Academy of Periodontology. Mandy holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Iowa State University and has furthered education at DePaul University and the University of St. Thomas.
