William Geis

William Geis serves as the VP/Chief of Organizational Development at Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois since April 2025, following over a decade of volunteer governance experience. Previous roles include Assistant to the President for Missions & Congregational Services and Director of Missions at the Missouri District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod from August 2017 to May 2025, as well as Director of Adult and Senior Adult Ministries at The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens from June 2014 to September 2017, where responsibilities included discipleship and community service initiatives. Geis has also served as Senior Pastor at St John's Lutheran Church and School in La Grange, IL, from October 2004 to June 2014 and as Pastor at St John's Lutheran Church in Lone Wolf, OK, from April 1990 to October 2004. Education includes a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Concordia Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Concordia University Chicago.
