Joseph Maurer

Joseph Maurer has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they work as a Program Manager and Mental Health Clinician at Lutheran Community Services Northwest. Previously, they owned their own woodworking business, specializing in handcrafted wood crafts and gifts. Joseph has also held various positions in the education sector, including as Director of Student Support Services at Klamath Community College and Director of Campus Life at Oregon Institute of Technology. Joseph has experience in implementing quality enhancement plans, managing budgets, and supervising staff. Earlier in their career, Joseph worked in student life roles at Lone Star College - Montgomery, University of Houston, Kenyon College, Pikes Peak Community College, and The Art Institute of Houston. In these positions, they were responsible for organizing and hosting events, advising student organizations, and promoting student engagement and development.

Joseph Maurer attended Moon Area High School for an unknown duration of time. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Duquesne University from 1990 to 1994. Subsequently, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver between 1994 and 1996.
