Clinical Information Systems Manager at Lutheran Community Services Northwest

Rob Devens has a diverse work experience history. Rob started their career in 1993 as the Pastor of Adult Spiritual Instruction at First Free Church, where they served for 16 years until 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a consultant at growthclass.org. In 2011, they briefly worked as an author at Books and Curriculum, reviewing Christian books and adult spiritual growth curriculum.

In 2012, Rob joined Lutheran Community Services Northwest as the Life Skills Coordinator and EHR/IT Specialist, leading the Electronic Health Record initiative at the Klamath Basin Office. Rob'srole expanded to include working with the drug court team as the Life Skills Coordinator and being the on-site IT specialist. In 2013, they became the Data Quality Manager and Electronic Health Record Coordinator, supporting the Southern Oregon offices with their Electronic Health Record system and leading the implementation and administration of a new Electronic Health Record system.

In 2016, Rob took on the role of Clinical Business Analyst at Lutheran Community Services Northwest. As a Clinical Business Analyst, they worked with stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze, document, and manage requirements for clinical and business solutions and processes. Rob also served as a liaison between technical staff and clinical/office users.

Finally, in January 2020, Rob became the Clinical Information Systems Manager at Lutheran Community Services Northwest. As the Clinical Information Systems Manager, they are responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of clinical information systems within the organization.

Rob Devens obtained their Master of Divinity degree from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary between 1986 and 1991. Rob'sfield of study during this period focused on the New Testament and Biblical Studies, demonstrating an interest in religious education and theology.
