John Couture

John Couture has been working in the field of information technology for over 20 years. John began their career as a lead project/program manager for enterprise initiatives at AEGON Americas. John then moved to Transamerica, where they spent 10 years in various leadership roles, including director of business liaison services & enterprise architecture and director of technology shared services. In 2012, they joined Athene USA as vice president of procurement & vendor management. John left Athene in 2015 to join Lifespace Communities as vice president of information technology, where they remained until 2020. John is currently interim COO, SVP, CAO at The Lutheran Home.

John Couture has a Master of Science in Business Management & Organizational Development from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts - Religion, Philosophy & French from Bellarmine University.

John Couture works with Todd Gray - Corporate Director of Information Technology, Maia Bonner - SVP of Sales & Marketing, and Steve Reid - SVP of Mission & Ministry. John Couture reports to Sloan Bentley, President & CEO.
