M. Sloan Bentley

President and CEO at Lutheran Life Communities

M. Sloan Bentley has extensive experience in the senior housing industry. Starting in 1987, Bentley served as an Administrator and Corporate Director of Special Projects at Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services, overseeing a retirement community and managing a significant budget. In 1994, Bentley established Bentley and Associates, where they offered consulting services for nonprofit senior living providers and specialized in licensing and opening retirement communities. In 1996, Bentley co-founded Seniority, Inc., providing management, sales, and marketing services nationally. They also designed a unique culture program called Seniority Spirit based on the Ritz Carlton program. In 2014, Bentley joined Lifespace Communities, Inc., as President and CEO, successfully leading a six community merger and implementing a centralized organizational structure to improve efficiency. In 2019, Bentley founded Bentley and Associates once again, and in 2020, they assumed the role of President and CEO at Lutheran Life Communities.

M. Sloan Bentley has a Master's degree in Long Term Care Administration from the University of North Texas. During their time at the university, they also pursued a minor in Business Administration and earned a Specialist Certificate in Gerontology. Additionally, Bentley obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology from Bowling Green State University, where they focused on the study of aging.
