Monica N. Sloan, CPA, has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as Controller for Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland since June 2007. Responsibilities include direct support to the CFO/VP of Finance, reporting financial results to the Finance Committee, and leading the finance team. Monica is tasked with overseeing finance operations, strategic initiatives, and the preparation of annual budgets. Previous roles include Controller at Geologic Solutions, where advancement from Senior Accountant to Accounting Manager occurred, Senior Accountant at London Fog responsible for full cycle accounting, and Staff Auditor at The Resnick Group. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Towson University.
