Karah Kohler, LCSW, has extensive experience in mental health care, currently serving as the Associate Executive Director of Coordinated Community Mental Health Care and previously holding various leadership roles at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois since August 2004. Karah also functions as the Principal/Therapist at Chrysalis Counseling Group since February 2011 and has worked in crisis intervention as a SASS Crisis Therapist at Ada S. McKinley Community Services, Inc. from September 2003 to August 2004. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Aurora Chicago Lakeshore Hospital from June 1999 to August 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from DePaul University.
