Hope James

Hope James is an experienced social work professional with a robust background in child and family services. Currently serving as the Director of Child and Family Services at Samaritas since April 2016, Hope has held multiple roles within the organization, including Utilization Manager and Foster Care Program Manager. Additionally, Hope works as a Pediatric Emergency Department Medical Social Worker at Corewell Health since August 2022 and previously taught as a Social Work Lab Instructor at Calvin University. Hope's past roles include Foster Care Supervisor at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, Child Welfare Supervisor and Specialist at Centers for New Horizons, and Case Manager at Erie Neighborhood House.
