Charles E. King

Charles E. King is an experienced career services advisor and re-employment services coordinator, currently serving as the RESEA Coordinator at the Virginia Employment Commission since July 2017. King provides and evaluates re-employment services for unemployment insurance claimants, offering career counseling and coaching. In addition to current volunteer roles with Lutheran Social Services, King has a long-standing commitment to mentoring youth in Liberia through Positive Thinking workshops and conducting career readiness seminars. King's extensive experience includes positions such as Business Engagement Developer and Job Developer with Lutheran Social Services, Youth Employment Counselor, and Career Services Coordinator at Stratford University. King holds higher education professional certificates in career services and degrees in Criminal Justice Administration and Law Enforcement from the University of New Haven.
