Coleen Southwell

Coleen Southwell is an experienced professional in donor engagement and communications, currently serving as a Donor Advisor at Lutheran World Relief since October 2019, managing a portfolio of donors that contributes $1 to $2 million annually to combat extreme poverty. Prior to this, Coleen held the position of Associate Vice President at Cardinal Stritch University, where more than $1 million was raised during a significant organizational transition. Coleen has also served as the Director of Advancement and Development at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Director of Development at the University of Wisconsin Foundation, playing key roles in significant fundraising initiatives. Additional experience includes marketing management at RSM US LLP and public relations positions at the University of Minnesota and Masonic Cancer Center. Coleen holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
