Lutheran World Relief
Tim McCully has extensive experience in international relief and development work. Tim currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Impact and Partnerships at Corus International, starting in February 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Economic Development at Lutheran World Relief IMA World Health since January 2019. In this role, they led economic development and agricultural livelihoods programs in multiple countries and played a key role in developing corporate strategies. Before joining Lutheran World Relief IMA World Health, Tim served as the Vice President of International Programs at Lutheran World Relief, starting in 2005. In this position, they oversaw relief and development programs in 14 countries, focusing on areas such as food security, agriculture, and emergency response. Prior to their time at Lutheran World Relief, Tim worked at the American Red Cross as the Deputy Sr. Director of International Relief and Development, overseeing programs in Asia, the Former Soviet Union, and the Balkans. Their areas of expertise in this role included food security, primary healthcare, emergency response, and capacity building.
Tim McCully received their MA in International Affairs with a focus on Economic Development and SE Asia from Columbia | SIPA in the years 1987-1988.
