Austin Honigford

Austin Honigford has been with Lutron Electronics since July 2018, where currently serves as a Design and Development Engineer, leading cross-functional project teams and overseeing the development of custom automation equipment, new product development, and implementation of testing software. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Mechanical Project Engineer and Mechanical Project Engineer, focused on designing manufacturing processes to optimize throughput and defect rates. Austin also gained valuable experience as a Student Engineering Consultant at Bucknell University Small Business Development Center, R&D Intern at Callaway Golf, Research Assistant at Bucknell Mechanical Engineering Department, and Associate at Golfsmith International. Austin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University, completed in 2018, and graduated from Park Tudor School in 2014.
