Ben Matzke

Ben Matzke is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product development and design. Currently serving as a Senior Design and Development Mechanical Engineer at Lutron Electronics, Ben focuses on enhancing window systems products, including roller shades and automated drapery. Ben founded Matzke Concepts, a freelance product development and photography company, and has previously held roles such as Design Engineer II at Forum Lighting and Principal Engineer at 4moms, leading the design and production of innovative consumer products. With a strong background in engineering, highlighted by a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Ben has contributed to various projects, including robotic mechanisms and government defense technology.
