Hans Peter Hess

Hans Peter Hess has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering and management roles. Hans Peter is currently serving as the Head of Development at Luware, leading a team that focuses on Teams integrated Contact Centers. Prior to this, they worked at Microsoft for over 18 years, holding various positions such as Principal Software Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, and Senior Development Lead. In these roles, they were responsible for spearheading and leading teams in the development of critical infrastructure and services for Skype, Teams, and Azure Communication Services. Hans also gained experience in other companies such as DAVID Systems GmbH, Omnixmedia GmbH, DynaPel Laboratories GmbH, CGI, FAST Security - Aladdin Group, FAST Multimedia Inc. (USA), and FAST Multimedia GmbH (AG) - Pinnacle - Avid. Overall, Hans has a proven track record in leading large teams and delivering innovative software solutions.

Hans Peter Hess completed their secondary education at Feodor-Lynen-Gymnasium Planegg from 1980 to 1988, earning an Abitur degree. Afterward, they attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 1989 to 1991, studying Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in 2012, and Workplace Mental Health Leadership from Queen's University in 2018.
