FOUNDED IN 1898 Lux Bond & Green, Inc. was founded in 1898 by Morris A. Green, who had operated a horse and cart selling pocket watches and gold eye frames on the streets of Waterbury CT then a thriving industrial community. In 1932, the second generation purchased the Lux Bond & Lux Jewelers in downtown Hartford and renamed it Lux Bond & Green. Today the fourth generation of the Green family leads the company and their seven locations throughout New England. LUX BOND & GREEN TODAY Lux Bond & Green is very different from its humble beginnings, now with six beautiful locations serving West Hartford Center, Somerset Square Glastonbury, Main Street Westport, The Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino, and Central Street in Wellesley Massachusetts and in the Back Bay in downtown Boston Massachusetts.
