Rik Wouters

Rik Wouters has worked in the industry since 2009, starting as a Production Engineer at Philips Lighting. In this role, they were responsible for keeping production costs low, improving efficiency of processes, and implementing new products to existing production lines. Rik then moved to the role of Improvement Engineer, where they were tasked with driving CoNQ down to keep Philips in a competitive and leading position in the lighting business. Rik later became a Technical Project Leader for Process Development, where they developed new processes and implemented them into production. In 2017, they moved to Luxexcel NV as Service and Support Manager.

Rik Wouters obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Science Electro-Mechanics from the College of Antwerp between 1995 and 2002.
