Ian Fitter

Ian Fitter has had extensive work experience in engineering roles. Ian is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Luxfer MEL Technologies, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to this, Ian worked at Magnesium Elektron, where they held various engineering positions including Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, Engineering Development Manager, Electrical Project Engineer, and Assistant Electrical Engineer. Ian joined Magnesium Elektron in 1992 and worked there until 2017. Ian's early career includes a role as an Assistant Projects Engineer at Farebrother Group, which they held from 1990 to 1995.

Ian Fitter obtained a BEng (hons) degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds, which they attended from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, they have a certification in the Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie Training.
