Kara Thorson

Kara Thorson is an experienced event management professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Events at Luxury Presence since August 2023, after previously holding the role of Senior Event Manager. As the Owner and Head Planner at My Bellissima since August 2004, Kara has excelled in event coordination, contract negotiations, and creating immersive brand experiences for clients such as Takasago and Yankee Candle. Kara's previous roles include Event Manager at Pacaso, Sales Manager/Event Planner at The Palace at Somerset Park, and National Sales Manager at The Original Runner Company. A graduate of Rider University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Journalism, Multimedia, and Advertising, Kara has also founded a successful women's entrepreneur networking group and participated in speaking engagements throughout the industry.
