Bikash Debnath

Bikash Debnath is an accomplished professional in the fields of data science, machine learning, and medicinal chemistry, currently serving as the Director of Data Science & Machine Learning at LuxWall, Inc. since April 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Champions Oncology, Inc. as a Senior Consultant and Application Scientist, where significant contributions were made in hit finding and the development of virtual screening workflows for drug discovery. With an extensive background at the University of Michigan as an Assistant Research Scientist, Bikash led computational efforts in drug design against various cancer targets and developed predictive models for blood-brain barrier penetration. Additional experience includes research roles at the University of Southern California and GVK Biosciences, focusing on lead identification and optimization for HIV and cancer therapies. Bikash holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and an M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jadavpur University, India.
