Khaled Abdelal

Khaled Abdelal is a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Luzmo (formerly Cumul.io) since February 2023, with a strong background in backend development and microservices architecture. Prior to this role, Khaled served as a Backend Software Engineer at Swvl, where responsibilities included refactoring a monolith into microservices and migrating management dashboards for SaaS capabilities. At OLX Egypt, Khaled contributed to the migration of a product to a new technology stack and integrated various payment providers. Earlier experience includes working as a Backend Developer at Algorithmz - Tooli, where Khaled designed a notification microservice system and developed a search service using Elasticsearch. Khaled holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sohag University, obtained in 2019.
