Jennifer Carr

Jennifer Carr is the current President at L&W Industries, and has been with the company for over 20 years. Jennifer started with the company as a Quality Engineer in August 1985 and was quickly promoted to President in February 1988.

Jennifer has a long history of working in the defense industry, including previous positions at Durham Company and Westinghouse Defense. Jennifer is a certified trainer and inspector to WS6536 DOD standards associated with soldering of electronic components, and was responsible for implementing an area audit system to track performance of each manufacturing cell/area with regards to proper conformance to MIL-Q-9858 requirements.

Jennifer has also done extensive research in electrical circuit test failures, including presenting their findings to management. Jennifer has participated with research groups in evaluating automated inspection systems, including voice recognition technologies.

Jennifer Carr has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering - Engineering Management from the University of Houston.
