Dr. Andrea Braden

Dr. Andrea Braden's work experience includes being the Founder & CEO of Lybbie since November 2019, Expert Reviewer at Livestrong.com starting in November 2023, Consultant at Vituity starting in October 2023, Medical Director at Atlanta Birth Center starting in April 2023, Lead Clinical Educator, OB/GYN and Acute Hospitalist Medicine, OB/GYN Hospitalist at TeamHealth starting in March and April 2023 respectively. Previously, they were an Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine from September 2022 to March 2023 and an Assistant Professor from December 2015 to September 2022. Dr. Andrea also served as the Associate Medical Director of Nurse Midwifery Services at Emory University School of Medicine from June 2016 to November 2021. Additionally, they were the Medical Director of OB/GYN Faculty Practice at The Hospital of Central Connecticut from December 2014 to November 2015, and an Attending Physician from July 2011 to November 2015. Dr. Andrea began their career as a Resident Physician at The University of Connecticut Health Center from July 2007 to June 2011.

Dr. Andrea Braden completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General at The University of Alabama from 1999 to 2003. Dr. Andrea then pursued their medical education and earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they completed their Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at The University of Connecticut Health Center from 2007 to 2011. Dr. Braden has also obtained various certifications, including Obstetrics and Gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in December 2014.
