Andrew Lewis

Andrew Lewis is an experienced educator specializing in English instruction, currently teaching at Lycée Français de Chicago since August 2013, where Lewis has also held the position of Head of Department. Previous teaching roles include positions at Sandia Preparatory School, The Gregory School, Salpointe Catholic High School, and Albuquerque Academy, with a focus on curriculum development and cross-curricular collaboration. Lewis has a diverse background that includes editing and production work at the University of Chicago Press, teaching at Columbia College Chicago and City Colleges of Chicago, and journalism experience at NPR and WNUR 89.3FM. Lewis holds a Master’s degree in Humanities from the University of Chicago and three undergraduate degrees in English Literature, Art Theory and Practice, and Anthropology from Northwestern University.
